The Scene
I went to downtown and passed by at the Kitchenitos, and there I saw Mimi, looking outside at the Kitchenetos. I asked her, ” uy makaon ka ?? pwd ka umupod ha ak ??”, the girl weird out but in the end she nodded and said, “oh cge teh”. We hit the road and go along to McDonald. The girl was so amused and felt uncomfortable to her surroundings too. I gave her a lunch of chicken fillet and a sundae. She was so surprise and happy too.
Mimi eat so fast as if she was hungry but it was really true she was really hungry.
While she was eating I keep interviewing her and on the top, that was the only information I got from her.
After she ate her lunch, I took a picture of both of us, for I could have a remebrance of her. It was really fun, and it was my first time to feed a street chhildren. 🙂
My Reflection
For feeding a street children, I learned that I must appreciate the food that my parents gave to me. Because I’m so lucky enough to eat thrice a day or more than to theirs so thank God 🙂
The government here in Tacloban must do an act to prevent this ‘coz they dont mind this “big” thing thats why our community are still in poverty. I hope someday they will prevent this “big” thing.
